The Bylaws of the College Assembly » establish the College Assembly as the chief governing body of the College and the College Academic Council (CAC) acts on behalf of the Assembly. The Standing Committees review and recommend action or policies in specific areas to the CAC. The Assembly will meet whenever ten members of the Assembly request such a meeting by means of a signed letter of petition. The Assembly may also be called to meet at the request of the CAC.

Minutes & Meetings
The College Assembly will meet whenever ten (10) members of the Assembly request such a meeting by means of a signed letter of petition. The Assembly may also be called to meet at the request of the CAC. Notice via email of at least ten (10) business days must be given before the College Assembly will meet.
Assembly agendas are posted on the CLAS website one week before each meeting. Email notice of the posting of the Assembly agenda is sent to all CLAS faculty.
Assembly minutes are posted on the CLAS website no later than 72 hours after each Assembly meeting. Email notice of the posting of Assembly minutes is sent to all CLAS faculty.
