Caleb Olsen

Caleb Olsen is the Communications Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. His responsibilities include creating and developing informational and promotional materials, collaborating with the outreach team on recruitment efforts, overseeing the Hawks to Watch profile series, and writing and managing the College’s blog and social platforms.

Before joining the communications team, Caleb worked as a high school English teacher, a copywriter for Rivet Creative in Kansas City, and an on-air radio personality at Mix 92.9 in Nashville. He also worked as Creative Director for WIBW Radio’s in-house advertising agency, Team W. Caleb enjoys storytelling and delivering information to an audience in an engaging way. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in English, and in 2021, he received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Media Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
