Daniel Brown

Daniel Brown is the Communications & Outreach Coordinator for the School of the Arts and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. In this role, he supports the College Outreach & Online Programs team in event planning and marketing, and coordinates the day-to-day communications and promotional efforts for the School of the Arts.

Before joining the School of the Arts and CO-OP teams, Daniel worked as a Communications Intern for the Arts Council of Johnson County in Overland Park. As an intern, he coordinated communications, managed social media and website accounts, and participated in event planning and marketing to help build and strengthen the local creative arts community. In the past, Daniel has also worked as a freelance graphic designer and photographer. He enjoys using digital design as a tool to empower people. In 2018, he graduated from KU with a B.A. in Architecture and a minor in African-American Studies.
