Josh DeBoer

Josh DeBoer is the Assistant Dean for Recruitment & Outreach in the College. In this role, he leads the College’s strategic enrollment efforts, oversees undergraduate recruitment and outreach operations, and collaborates with academic departments, Enrollment Management, and campus partners to strengthen pathways into the liberal arts and sciences. His work centers on developing data-informed recruitment strategies, understanding shifting student interest trends, and supporting sustainable enrollment planning across the College.

Josh is also a doctoral student in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at KU. His research focuses on critical discourse analysis and how public universities communicate their value to students, families, and communities through policy, strategic communication, and institutional narratives.

He holds a B.G.S. in Communication Studies and an M.S.E. in Education & Social Policy, both from the University of Kansas.
